Clean Calgary Rain Barrel Sales - Apr 26

DESCRIPTION: We are providing volunteers to help Clean Calgary sell rain barrels  on Rain Barrel Sales Day. This event is to promote water conservation by selling used food grade 45 gallon plastic barrels that have been retro-fitted for water collection. The City of Calgary Waterworks will also be at this event promoting barrels and other water conservation ideas.

Sign up and show your support for a cleaner Calgary!

VOLUNTEER DUTIES: help set up the site (signage, tents, unloading barrels..) and sell plastic rain barrels.

This event is on rain or shine. You will need to dress for the weather.

Volunteers will be interacting with the public Set up of site (unloading rain barrels from trucks) 2 tents, placing signs around site, roping off area to guide public

Handing out taps and information as people purchase barrels
Surveying public on water conservation questions

*Note: this event conflicts with our regular Mustard Seed Meal Service event.
If you sign up for both I will assign you to the event that needs you the
most.
