Galatea Lake Hike (Aug 5)
Well, Sunday's hike went well. There were fourteen of us for the hike. No body got eaten, unless you count bugs. The trail was not as hilly as I remembered, or I'm in better shape. We had two people that could not make it to Lillian Lake, and another two that walked them down. There were only three of us that did not make it to the Galatea lakes, two because of time, and one due to honken blisters.

DESCRIPTION: Galatea Lake, distance 12.6 km return, height gain: 500m. (note
500 meter elevation in 6.3 km, this is a moderate hike, as always don't be
afraid to turn back if you reach your limit, or feel uncomfortable.)
