Fringe Festival - Aug 10,11,12

DESCRIPTION: The Calgary Fringe Festival runs August 10 to 19, 2007, in the heart of Calgary's Downtown Core. This non-juried, uncensored artistic event will feature raw and innovative local, national, and international theatrical productions alongside street performers, international film presentations, food and arts & crafts vendors, visual art displays, music, outdoor stage events - and MORE! 
As they have done for over fifty years, Fringe Festivals around the world
continue to generate atmospheres of spontaneity, collaboration, and
risk-taking. We're excited to bring this ongoing artistic legacy to Calgary.
Prepare to experience our tremendous artistic community in action!

VOLUNTEER RESPONSIBILITIES: 
These are box office shifts, so the jobs include things like ticket taking, or recording ticket sales, and sometimes cash handling and reconciliation. We have chosen 3 Shift Dates:

Each shift takes place in a downtown central location, so they are all C-Train accessible. Who to meet and addresses will be provided in the confirmation emails after the event is processed.

TIME: 6pm-11pm

DATE: Sunday Aug 12 2007
TIME: 4:00pm - 10:30pm

VOLUNTEER APPRECIATION:
For shifts worked, you will receive "Fringe Bucks" which can be redeemed for tickets. Snacks and beverages, will be provided as well as "stuff" and volunteer appreciation events!
