Mother's Day Walk and Run - May 14

DESCRIPTION: Volunteer for our largest single event of the year! Many of our "SVC alumni" met their significant others at the Mother's Day Run. (Alumni will be welcome to participate event)

We need many people for this event - I encourage you to sign up as soon as possible so that we don't have to concern ourselves about meeting our
commitment prior to the orientation.

This should NOT conflict with your Mother's Day plans as you will be
done by noon at the latest. Our large events are a wonderful
opportunity to meet a lot of SVC people from all ages and have a great time.

DATE: Sunday May 8, 2016

TIME: 7:00-noon 

ORIENTATION: Friday or Saturday either of the 2 days prior to the
race, your choice, at Max Bell arena. Details will be sent in
confirmation email.

DUTIES: Working at the guiding people from the finish line to the food distributors and distributing the food. (passing out bananas, water, granola bars, etc to the race participants after they finish)

SOCIAL EVENT: lunch/brunch afterwards - location TBA
