Our privacy policy

SVDC will not distribute your personal information to anyone with one exception - after you volunteer at an event or attend a social your first name and email address will be emailed to all of the people who attended the event with you so that they may contact you, and you them, without having to go through SVDC. If you do not wish for people to have your "real" email address you should signup for SVDC and for events with an anonymous account, such as those offered by Hotmail or Yahoo.

Spam filter issues

Some spam filtering software programs block email from SVDC because it perceives our multi-recipient messages as spam. If you plan to receive messages from SVDC and you have spam filtering or blocking software, please read your ISP's instructions for allowing specific addresses to come through the filter. This may involve adding SVDC email addresses to your address book or adding the domain name "singlevolunteers.org" to your email account's whitelist. Please contact your ISP for details. SVDC cannot answer technical questions about spam filtering software.
