July Movie Night (July20)
DESCRIPTION: This movie night about 27 people meet at the Chapters/Startbucks in Chinook Centre to select movies. There was a good mix of new and eexisting members.
The majority of the group went to see America's Sweethearts and the overall feeling was very good. Lot's of people enjoyed the movie and several mentioned wanting to see it again.
A small group went to see Jurassic Park, and got what they expected from the third in a series of hi-effect monster movie. A notable quote from a viewer was "some dinosaurs killed some guys, but some got away for another sequel."
AI was the final movie viewed by a small group of members, and many were disappointed with the movies darkness. They were expecting a much lighter movie.
After the movies ended about 19 members meet up at the Chinook Moxies and had some great discussions covering lots of topics while having some good food and enjoying some great company. There was a lot of enthusiasm for the (then upcoming) Rawson Lake hike on July 22nd, even after some interesting stories from past trips.
