After completing your signup to svcal and/or svcal-chat email lists, please read the following for instructions on how to signup for a Yahoo! groups web id.
Signing up for Yahoo! Groups
Go to http://groups.yahoo.com
Sign up for a Yahoo id, in the top right click on " register". Fill in the form, and click "submit this form". (Tip: in the field that says alternate e-mail, put the e-mail address that you signed up to svcal with.)
After you have completed the signup for a yahoo id correctly, you will get a registration completed screen. Click "continue to Yahoo! groups" .
To add your groups to your id click on "Use our membership wizard to locate your groups."
Follow the instructions and it will link your group to your yahoo id.
You can now click on the group you wish to see. (svcal or svcal-chat).
Now whenever you want to see the archives of mail messages you can go to http://groups.yahoo.com sign in as a registered user and browse the archived messages.
